The main topic of my term paper is MASS as such. I am interested in her qualities, character, appearance, stability … I connect it with the photographic medium and then examine its individual fragments. I am based on the elements and authors who are key to this topic. And that, from the work of Josef Sudek and Milan Tittel. The two artists may be different at first glance, but at the same time there is a certain similarity. Like them, I, in a sense of the word, focused on the common objects around us and then elevated them with photos to „sculptural objects“. The title of my work is called „HYLÉ“, this term is based on the philosophical understanding of matter. Specifically, it means a formless substance which, when combined with the shape, gives a concrete concretion. My pictorial understanding of matter in photography also emerged from this. An effort so that the viewer can „touch“ or „touch“ the displayed space. Decomposition of matter or its expansion is another element of my research, where I do not come to certain conclusions, but only to other forms of its processing and asking other new questions. MASS, STABILITY, TEMPORARLITY, RANDOMNESS – 4 passwords to which I got in the process of creation and then returned. These are also elements that in a way characterize the overall installation. By installing, I highlight a photo that provides us with a material experience with a flat view. The photographs are installed in a certain sequence of my research from the up where the research began downwards where it gradually developed.
